What to expect
See Iceland’s most stunning natural wonders on the Private Golden Circle Tour, designed for comfort, flexibility and exclusivity. Your day starts at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. This historic site is also the birthplace of the Icelandic parliament and combines geology and history.
Then feel the force of the famous Gullfoss waterfall as it plunges into a deep canyon. Next stop is the Geysir Geothermal Area where you’ll find bubbling hot springs and the famous Strokkur geyser which erupts every few minutes.
Before heading to the volcanic landscapes you’ll stop at the lovely Friðheimar Tomato Farm. This family run greenhouse offers a farm-to-table experience where you can enjoy freshly prepared tomato based dishes surrounded by tomato plants – a great place to rest and refuel.
After that you’ll visit the colourful Kerið Volcanic Crater, famous for its red slopes and blue lake. Perfect for some photo opportunities. You have the option to relax at the Secret Lagoon, Iceland’s oldest natural hot spring, where you can soak in warm, mineral rich waters.
