What to expect
Start your 8‑hour Golden Circle tour with pickup in Reykjavík. The first stop is Hveragerði, a small geothermal town known for its hot springs and frequent earthquake activity. Enjoy time to walk around or grab a coffee surrounded by geothermal energy.
Continue to Kerið, the volcanic crater also called "The Eye of the World", famous for its red slopes and blue crater lake. Take time to walk around the rim and enjoy the unique views of this natural landmark.
Next, visit Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s most powerful and well‑known waterfalls. Watch the water rush through a dramatic canyon and feel the force of nature up close.
The tour then continues to the Geysir geothermal area. Walk among bubbling mud pools and steaming vents, and see Strokkur geyser erupt every few minutes, shooting hot water high into the air.
The final stop is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the area where Iceland’s first parliament was founded and see the rift valley between two tectonic plates.
After a full day of sightseeing, return to Reykjavík with drop‑off at your original pickup location.
