What to expect
Take a scenic quad bike ride in the outback area of Reykjavik and be rewarded with a million-dollar view of the city. Have fun on a complete ATV experience, combining gravel roads, mountain tracks, rocky paths, and a steep ascent.
Be picked up from your accommodation in Reykjavik and relax on the scenic drive through the Icelandic wilderness to the base camp. Begin your adventure from the base camp, where you will start the ride on a gravel road along beautiful Lake Hafravatn.
Head up a mountain trail to the top of Reykjavik Peak Mountain. Once you stand there, enjoy great views over the whole Reykjavík area and the surrounding mountain range. On a clear day, be able to see Snæfellsjökull Glacier, hundreds of kilometers away.
After your first hour on the ATV, feel more confident and head over the lake and toward the Lava field peak, where incredible mountain and geothermal views await you.

Terms & conditions
• The total tour time is 3-3.5 hours, with 2 hours of ATV driving
• All the ATVS are 2 seaters if there is a odd number of participants (1,3,5 etc.) then 1x person must be booked as a Single rider option*
• You can swap drivers to share the experience if both participants have a valid driver's license (sharing option)
• All drivers must be 17 years of age to drive the ATV and have a full valid driver license. (motorcycle or permit licenses is not enough to operate the ATVS)
• Passengers do not need a license and min age is 6 years.
• Pickup starts 30 minutes prior to departure time and you need to be ready at the pickup location at 09:00 AM or 13:00pm
• Weight limit is 220kg/485lbs per person as a solo driver. The combined weight per ATV/buggy is 220kg/485lbs (for Shared rider)
