What to expect

First, stop at the Deildartunguhver hot springs. These springs have the highest flow rate in Europe, and the water measures at 97 degrees celcius. Learn how the water is used to heat the nearby towns of Borgarnes and Akranes. Next, visit Reykholt Church which has a history dating back to the 12th century.
Continue the tour by visiting the beautiful Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls, where water cascades down a former lava flow.
