What to expect
Day 1: Athens to Zakynthos
Depart from Athens and travel to the port. After a 3.5-hour drive, enjoy lunch before boarding the ferry to Zakynthos. Upon arrival, visit the Argassi Venetian Bridge, a partially submerged bridge built in 1885. Then, stroll through Solomos Square in Zakynthos Town, filled with shops and restaurants. Alternatively, relax at your hotel’s bar or pool.
Day 2: Zakynthos
Explore the filming locations of "Descendants of the Sun." Visit the Monastery of St. Dionysios, where the island’s patron saint spent his last years. Then, head to the Shipwreck Viewpoint for a panoramic view of the famous bay. After lunch, embark on a 3-hour boat trip to the Blue Caves and Shipwreck Bay, known for their vibrant blue waters. Enjoy swimming and relaxing on the beach before returning to your hotel.
Day 3: Zakynthos to Athens
Check out and visit the Keri Caves Viewpoint, one of Zakynthos’ most iconic landscapes. Capture stunning photos before heading to Laganas Port for some free time. Finally, board the ferry back to Athens.
