Saint Nektarios of Aegina was one of the most revered modern saints of the Greek Orthodox Church, known for his piety, miracles, and deep theological knowledge. Many believe that prayers at Saint Nektarios' tomb bring miracles, especially for the sick.
Continue your day with a visit to the Temple of Athena Aphaia, one of the most important ancient sites on the island. Tour the temple and take in the surrounding archaeological site, which dates back to the 5th century BCE.
