What to expect
Set sail for the Château d'If and the islands of the Frioul archipelago.
Meet at the Esplanade du J4 just behind the Mucem Museum in the Vieux Port and get ready to embark on a journey to discover the history of Marseille. We will first sail along the coast to the charming little harbor of Vallon des Auffes, and then we will head towards Degaby Island, where it is now possible to eat in a beautiful setting by making a reservation. We will make a short photo stop opposite the castle of If (no stopover), the famous monument that inspired the novelist Alexandre Dumas to write The Count of Monte Cristo. The trip continues to the Port du Frioul, where we will make a 1-hour stop.
Not suitable for people who don't appreciate wilderness and tranquility, as the time might seem long to them; it's not Ibiza...
In the harbor, you will be able to quench your thirst in one of the many café-restaurants and also have lunch starting at 12 pm for the 1 pm excursion... and take the opportunity to swim in the cool, crystal-clear water of a nearby cove.
On your drop-off from the stopover in the summer, we will take the opportunity to stop in a cove so that you can swim from the boat in crystal-clear water around the island and snorkel among the fish.
It remains a simple and still wild island with very little commerce, just nature, the sea, the birds...
Terms & conditions
The boat cruise tour is subject to the weather.
- Passengers must be able to walk.
- Swimmers are not supervised when in the water.
- All passengers who go into the water must be able to swim unaided.
- The route is subject to change, depending on wind and sea swell conditions.
- Only the captain is authorized to assess the sailing conditions and to cancel the boat tour
- You may bring your own lunch and drinks on board
- No refund can be issued for a passenger who does not show up (due to lateness or any other reason).
