Your itinerary includes the must-see highlights: the Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo da Vinci in 1506, the medieval foundations of the palace, ancient treasures such as the Venus de Milo and the Caryatids, a passage through the Etruscan collections, Pharaonic Egypt with the Seated Scribe and a mummy, the Galerie d’Apollon and its jewels, major French paintings such as Liberty Leading the People, the decorative arts of the kings and the apartments of Napoleon III, as well as the Richelieu Wing and its magnificent French sculptures.

On December 24th and 31st, the Louvre Museum will close earlier than usual. The last entry on December 24th will be at 5:30 pm and on December 31st at 8:30 pm
