Starting February 13, 2026, experience an exceptional immersion in the heart of the work of Pablo Picasso!
The "Picasso, l'art en mouvement" experience offers a visual and sound presentation that enhances the monumental volumes and the minerality of the Carrières des Lumières. The artist is revealed in a monumental journey where images, colors, and music unfold on the limestone walls. This experience offers an extraordinary encounter with one of the absolute masters of modern art, in a grandiose setting.
From his native Spain to France, where he spent most of his life, the experience offers, in turn, a stroll through the arenas, a dive into the nightlife of Parisian cabarets, a confrontation with the shapes and colors of Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, and the striking power of Guernica.
In addition to paintings and drawings, this retrospective projected onto the walls of the Carrières invites you to discover the various techniques that the artist explored: engraving, sculpture, collage, assemblage, folding, and ceramics.
Then immerse yourself in the world of Frida Kahlo with the short program "Frida, en plein cœur" presented after the immersive experience "Picasso, l'art en mouvement". Step into the heart of a fiery, vibrant life shaped by
passion, freedom, and pain. The immersive experience "Frida Kahlo, en plein cœur" invites visitors to explore the intimacy and creative power of the Mexican artist in an explosion of colors, symbols, and emotions.
