What to expect
The sweeping vineyards, lush forests and fairy-tale castles of the loire valley are even more impressive from above and this hot-air balloon experience is the ideal way to enjoy an aerial view. (1-hour flight for a total of 3 hours in our company).
Float over the unesco -listed landscapes of the loire, indre or cher Valleys; spot landmarks like the chateau of chenonceau then toast your safe landing with a glass of sparkling wine or grape juice.
Your aerial adventure begins with meeting at the meeting point or a pick-up from your hotel (morning flight only) and a transfer by 4x4 to the launch site, where you’ll have chance to watch the balloon being inflated. After a safety briefing, hop aboard and hold on tight as you take off and float up high into the sky. Look down over the rolling hills of the Loire Valley as you soar overhead and snap photos of the patchwork of vineyards, orchards and forests, stretching along the banks of the Loire River. While in the air, listen to your pilot’s commentary as you fly over the over the Loire, Indre or Cher Valleys, then swoop over magnificent châteaux like Amboise, Chaumont sur Loire or Chenonceau, and watch the sunrise or sunset over the Loire. As you come in to land, a glass of champagne and a personalized flight certificate will be waiting for you. After celebrating your safe landing with a toast, hop back in the 4x4 and end your tour with a drop-off at your hotel.
Terms & conditions
Appointment times vary according to the season. We will meet you approximately 30 minutes before sunrise for morning flights and 3 hours before sunset for evening flights. The exact meeting time will be confirmed by SMS as the flight approaches.
