What to expect
Your trip will begin as soon as you are picked up at the square in front of the Reims train station in the town center, and you board a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes van driven by your local live guide and driver, Anne-Lise, who is a winegrower in Champagne.
You will meet two Champagne producers, a harvest-manipulating winemaker who produces his Champagne from scratch, and then another winemaker where you will participate in a tasting workshop
As a winemaker and local live guide/driver, Anne-Lise will introduce you to Champagne, the Champagne vineyards, explain the work of the vine, and finally reveal the secrets of the Champagne making process, led by the winemakers in their cellar
Opportunity to purchase Champagne from the producer on site
You will have a total of 6 tastings of Champagne during your half day
We will make a photo stop in the vineyards with a vantage point overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage vineyard
