What to expect
Visit Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris with a French-speaking licensed guide. This tour offers you several options to discover 860 years of history and Gothic architecture, as well as the restoration completed after the 2019 fire.
The tour begins on the Parvis Notre-Dame, facing the west facade. Your live guide will show you the three entry portals with their carved biblical scenes, the Gallery of the Kings and its 28 statues, as well as the two towers that rise 69 meters high. The live guide describes the 12th-century Gothic construction techniques and tells the story of the fire and the restoration.
Depending on the option chosen, your experience may include a guided visit of the outside of the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral only, a guided visit of the outside followed by a small-group tour of the inside, or a private visit with a dedicated live guide. Admission to Notre-Dame is free. Whichever option you choose, you will therefore be able to enter the cathedral without prior booking.
