Entry to Notre Dame Cathedral is free. Services offered are independent of entry to the building.
Respectful clothing is required to enter the cathedral. Shoulders and belly must be covered, thighs at least half-covered, and transparent clothing is not permitted. Entry may be denied if these rules are not respected.
The Cathedral may occasionally have unforeseen access restrictions for groups due to liturgical celebrations. In such cases, your guide will provide explanations from outside the cathedral.
Sainte-Chapelle may close without notice due to strikes. In this case, the tour will continue as a guided walking tour of Paris.
Fast-track entry is not available at Notre-Dame; all visitors must pass through mandatory security screening, which may cause a short wait.
The 2019 fire damaged parts of Notre-Dame, but restoration is ongoing.
Guided tours inside Notre-Dame are restricted on Friday afternoons.
Please arrive 15 minutes early; late arrivals cannot join after the tour starts.
