Come and discover a summit that is only accessible off-trail in the heart of the Mercantour National Park, with a view of various lakes and peaks in the park, all at an altitude of over 2,800 meters

What to expect
We meet at the Laus car park early in the morning (make sure to book the paid parking)
From the parking lot, we start the hike on the trail through a larch forest to reach an alpine pasture where Lake Allos will reveal itself to us.
The final climb will take place off the trail on a rocky slope to reach the ridge where our summit is located. The picnic will take place at the summit.
The return will be via the same route for the off-trail section, and we will take a different trail for a few kilometers for part of the return.
Hike of approximately 14 km with 750 m of elevation gain.
Estimated duration 5 hours 30 minutes, including a break.
The meal will be eaten after about 2.5 hours of walking.
