What to expect
Meet a friendly herd of alpacas with baby alpacas up-close at a English Countryside Farm near London Underground’s Epping Tube station. Step into the paddock with your guide to feed the herd, snap the best selfies, and leave as a certified alpaca fact guru. Stroke the friendly alpacas, and try a cheeky cuddle!
Enjoy a more natural, ethical alternative to traditional alpaca walking. Walk freely between the alpacas in their own field. By stepping into their home environment, the alpacas get to choose to interact with you on their own terms.
Win the alpacas' hearts with tasty snacks. Alpaca food is provided, letting you enjoy an interactive (and photogenic) bonding experience. If you want the full alpaca-farmer vibe, you could top up water troughs or clear manure if you’d like to roll up your sleeves.
See how fleece from the herd is transformed into luxurious yarn and even alpaca hats. Bird feeders are also available for sale, which you can fill with alpaca fiber to help local birds build cozy nests.
Whether it’s about their Peruvian heritage, UK weather tolerance, breeding, or insights around ownership, the staff love answering your alpaca questions.
