Begin with check-in at St Ives Harbour, where the crew provides a safety briefing and life jackets. Once aboard, set sail along the coastline, passing Porthmeor Beach, towards with Godrevey Lighthouse as a striking focal point in the distance.
Your main wildlife stop is one of 2 possible destinations, either Seal Island or Godrevy Lighthouse (this is depending on either weather conditions and where the most wildlife has been most recently spotted) Both are home to a colony of playful Atlantic grey seals that often swim close to the boat—perfect for photos. Keep your eyes on the water as you cruise past Godrevey Lighthouse; common and bottlenose dolphins are frequently spotted, and in season, you may even see porpoises or basking sharks.
Return to St Ives Harbour after a scenic journey, enjoying the coastline from a fresh perspective and memories of unforgettable wildlife encounters. This cruise is suitable for all ages and offers an ideal mix of sightseeing, nature, and adventure.
Please note that boarding can sometimes take slightly longer depending on the state of the tide and sea conditions so please allow extra time for this. Our team work very hard to keep our trips on schedule but during peak times there may be short delays and we thank you for your patience and understanding. Godrevy lighthouse and Seal Island and in opposite directions so it is not possible to travel to both locations in a single tour although both locations are home to seals. The captain of the boat will make the final decision on the destination, taking into account the sea conditions, passenger comfort, and wildlife migration.
Please note that customers must check in 25 minutes early to collect their boarding pass and make their way to the boarding location. Refunds will not be issued to passengers who miss their trip or who fail to check in on time.
