What to expect
Enjoy a true Scottish evening of whisky appreciation and folklore just off Edinburgh’s famous Royal Mile. Taste four single malt Scotch whiskies while your guide brings Scotland’s past and characters to life. (if the appropriate option is selected)
Please note that if you don't like whisky but still want to immerse yourself in the experience, that's quite alright, other alcoholic and non alcoholic alternatives are available on request.
Over the next two hours, drink 4 outstanding single malt Scotch whiskies taken from the 4 major whisky-producing regions of Scotland and enjoy a bit of Scottish folklore.
Hear traditional stories that our guides have hand picked from Scotland’s past. These stories may range from kings and queens to outlaws and smugglers, all of whom have shaped whisky into one of the world’s most beloved and national drinks.
Taste whiskies that range from the relatively delicate and subtle flavours of the Lowlands to the bold and robust tastes of Islay. We provide tasting notes to accompany each of the whiskies we sample.
During the tour, experience traditional storytelling and explore the significance of whisky to the Scottish identity. We have built our bespoke whisky lounge so you can sit in comfort for this story-orientated event.
