What to expect
Edinburgh rewards those who know where to look, and this tour makes sure you look in all the right places.
You'll begin in the grand Georgian New Town, taking in the sweeping architecture and stopping for your first taste of Scotland's most celebrated baking. From there, you'll make your way into the medieval Old Town, where the city's history is written into every corner and courtyard. Along the way, you'll try haggis in a way you won't soon forget, sit inside Edinburgh's oldest gastropub for a warming bowl of cullen skink and a half-pint of local ale, sample Scottish cheeses at a tiny family-run cheesemonger on the iconic Victoria Street, and more!
This isn't a race through the highlights, it's a wander. The kind where you end up knowing the stories behind the streets, and leave full in every sense of the word. With a small group of no more than 12, your guide has room to go off-script, answer your questions, and show you Edinburgh the way it deserves to be seen. Whether you're a first-timer or a return visitor, this is three hours well spent.
