What to expect
Meet your guide outside Hereford Cathedral and begin your walk. Within minutes of leaving the city center, find yourself on quiet paths through riverside meadows. Climb through woodland before reaching the hilltop, with views stretching across Herefordshire.
Stop for a picnic lunch at the top, before making your way back. This is a proper walk — 8 miles, with some elevation — so you'll want comfortable boots and a reasonable level of fitness. But the pace is relaxed and the route is rewarding every step of the way.
