As the boat glides along the calm waters of the Tagus, you’ll enjoy privileged views of Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks — historic monuments, remarkable architecture, and a coastline that reflects centuries of stories. It’s the perfect setting to appreciate the city’s grandeur away from urban rush and capture memorable photos.
As we sail further downriver, the landscape gradually transforms. The horizon opens up, announcing our approach to the Tagus river mouth — the point where the river meets the ocean. This area is often visited by different marine species at certain times of the year, making it an ideal spot to try and observe wild dolphins.
From the beginning, we navigate with great care and respect for the environment, always guided by an experienced crew. We do not use any attraction methods: we seek to observe nature exactly as it is. The crew keeps an eye on movements at the water’s surface, the behavior of seabirds, and other signs that may indicate the presence of these incredible animals.
Dolphins live in total freedom, so sightings are never guaranteed — but when they do happen, the moment is truly unforgettable. Seeing dolphins swim or leap in their natural environment is a rare privilege that leaves a lasting impression on any traveler.
Even when dolphins don’t appear, the experience remains complete and deeply enriching. Arriving on the meeting point a Boarding Tourist Tax [€1.30] will be imposed on all passengers, payable at check-in.
Dolphins are wild animals, so there is no guarantee that you will see them; however, the activity provider will do their best to find them;
There will be no refund if you do not spot any dolphins;
From October to May, if we do not reach the number of minimum passengers, the tour can be done on speed boats, along the Atlantic coast, in the open sea, where the probability of spotting dolphins is greater.
In the event that a guide is not available in the selected language, the tour will be conducted in English and/or Portuguese.
By purchasing tickets for this experience, participants acknowledge and agree that they may be photographed and/or filmed during the activity, and that such recordings may be used for the company’s institutional and promotional purposes. Should they not consent, they must inform the staff at the time of filming.
