Your journey starts with a convenient pickup right in Lisbon (Time Out Market area), or if you prefer, you can meet us directly in the charming fishing village of Sesimbra, just 45 minutes away. Please READ carefully when choosing your option to asure you book the correct choice of your liking with or without transfer. After a warm welcome from our expert guides, you’ll gear up with top-quality equipment and set off in your kayak (double sit-on-top models, easy and stable even for beginners) to explore the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic.
As you paddle along the dramatic limestone cliffs, you'll discover hidden caves, secret grottoes, and passages carved naturally into the coastline — a true paradise for nature lovers. Our guides, all local experts, will share stories, insights, and tips about the unique geology, history, and marine life of the region, making this much more than just a kayak tour.
After about 1.5 hours of easy paddling, we’ll land at the famous Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach, often considered the most beautiful beach in the area. Here, you'll unwind on a cozy beach blanket and enjoy a homemade picnic featuring a fresh baguette sandwich (chicken salad or vegan option), local fruit, a traditional Sesimbra sweet treat ("Farinha Torrada"), and refreshing water. Dietary needs? No problem — we’ll confirm everything in advance to ensure a perfect meal for you.
After a relaxing break under the sun, we’ll hop back in the kayaks for a smoother ride back, often with the help of a gentle breeze. Once ashore, you'll have time to change into dry clothes and enjoy a comfortable return to Lisbon if you opted for the pickup service.
