What to expect
This is a 4-hour tour, starting approximately 90 minutes before sunrise, allowing us the flexibility to adapt to weather conditions and ensure the best possible experience.
Your morning begins with a scenic drive up into the mountains, heading towards one of Madeira's most breathtaking high-altitude viewpoints. Our goal is to experience the sunrise from above the clouds, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and unforgettable views.
However, Madeira’s weather can change quickly. If conditions at the main location are not ideal, we do have alternative locations and plan B options to try and provide you with a beautiful and memorable sunrise experience. However, please note that sunrise visibility cannot be guaranteed in bad weather conditions.
After sunrise, the experience continues at a relaxed pace. You will enjoy a short walk, followed by a series of scenic stops and viewpoints, allowing you to take in more of Madeira's natural beauty while starting the day in a calm and enjoyable way. We will also include time for a breakfast stop, giving you the chance to unwind and enjoy the morning (food and drinks are not included in tour price).
After a smooth and scenic morning, we make our way back to your accommodation. This is not just about watching the sunrise, it is about experiencing Madeira at its most peaceful, before the island fully wakes up.
