Your guide will share the story of Alvarinho, from its roots in the region to its celebrated status among wine lovers.
After the tour, embark on a tasting journey through the different expressions of Alvarinho. Sample a curated selection, including QM Alvarinho, QM Alvarinho Old Vines, QM Alvarinho Nature, QM Alvarinho Homenagem, and QM Sparkling Super Reserva Alvarinho. Each wine offers a unique perspective, from the vibrant freshness of the younger vintages to the complexity and elegance of aged and sparkling varieties.
To complement your tasting, a range of local food pairings is available for an additional cost. Choose from options like the Harmony Board, featuring long-cured cheese, ham, QM compote, toasts, dried fruits, and olives, or the Essence Tablet, which includes specialties such as local charcuterie, local honey, and seasonal fruit. These pairings are designed to highlight the flavors of the wines and offer a true taste of Melgaço’s culinary heritage.
