What to expect
This relaxed full-day experience is designed for travelers who want to discover the beauty of Madeira at a comfortable pace, exploring charming villages, scenic viewpoints, and authentic landscapes across the island’s south and north coasts.
After pickup, the journey begins in Ponta do Sol, one of the sunniest villages in Madeira, known for its picturesque seafront and peaceful atmosphere. We then continue canhas village, where we stop for a short break and the opportunity to enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
From here, the road climbs into the mountains as we head towards the magical Fanal Forest, one of Madeira’s most unique natural treasures. Guests will have approximately one hour to explore the mystical laurel forest, walk among the ancient trees, take photos, and experience the calm and peaceful atmosphere of this special place.
After Fanal, the journey continues along scenic backroads and panoramic routes through Madeira’s rugged landscapes. Our next stop is Porto Moniz, famous for its natural volcanic swimming pools. Here you will have time to enjoy lunch, explore the village, and even take a refreshing swim if you wish.
We then travel to the beautiful village of Seixal, home to one of Madeira’s most stunning volcanic black-sand beaches. This is the perfect place to admire the dramatic coastline and capture unforgettable photos.
The tour continues to São Vicente, a charming village on the north coast surrounded by lush green mountains. Here we stop in a beautiful valley known for its impressive waterfall views.
To finish the day, we visit Cabo Girão Skywalk, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean and Madeira’s southern coastline. With a little luck, you may even enjoy a spectacular sunset from this incredible viewpoint.
