What to expect
Discover Guincho on horseback in a peaceful and authentic experience, among sand dunes, natural trails, and the coastal landscape of Cascais. The route is tailored to the participants' level of experience and the chosen duration, so that everyone can enjoy it in comfort and safety.
Throughout the ride, you will follow dirt paths and areas of vegetation typical of the coast, with open views of the surrounding nature and the Atlantic breeze. Depending on the route and the conditions of the day, the experience may include areas of dry coastal forest, creating a beautiful and varied combination of sea, sand, and nature.
You can arrive early at CM Stables, at the Cascais Equestrian Center (Clube D. Carlos I), to get to know the horses and, if you like, help prepare your horse with us. It's a special way to start the activity and make the moment even more complete and memorable.
Terms & conditions
PLEASE NOTE: This horseback riding experience is subject to a weight limit of 91 kg (200 lbs), set to ensure the safety of participants and the welfare of the animals.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to insurance limitations, the ride is not permitted for guests aged 70 and up.
The activity is subject to favorable weather conditions.
The route may vary depending on the experience of the participants and the condition of the terrain.
We advise arriving 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
The use of a helmet (browband) is mandatory.
Inexperienced people are welcome as long as they follow the guide's instructions.
