What to expect
Embark on an unforgettable 3-day Sahara Desert journey from Marrakech, combining adventure, cultural immersion, and Morocco’s most iconic landscapes. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains, visit ancient kasbahs, explore dramatic valleys and gorges, and experience the magic of the Sahara Desert with camel trekking, sandboarding, and an overnight stay in a traditional desert camp under the stars. Optional quad biking or buggy rides are available for extra adventure. Return comfortably to Marrakech at the end of the tour.
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Aït Benhaddou – Dades Valley
Depart from Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou, where a local guide will introduce you to its historic kasbah and cinematic setting. Enjoy a traditional lunch with panoramic views before continuing through the Rose Valley and Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight stay in a comfortable hotel or riad in Dades Valley (with swimming pool where available).
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Tinjdad – Merzouga Sahara
After breakfast, visit the impressive Todra Gorge with its towering canyon walls. Stop for lunch in the oasis town of Tinjdad before continuing to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes and experience sandboarding on the golden sands. Watch a breathtaking sunset before arriving at your desert camp. Dinner, Berber music, and an unforgettable night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rose Valley – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Wake early to witness a magical sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, depart the desert and journey back toward Marrakech. Stop for lunch in the scenic Rose Valley, surrounded by mountains and palm groves. Continue through the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon with drop-off at your accommodation or central location.

Important Tour Information
The tour departs at 07:00 AM on Day 1 and finishes around 08:00 PM on Day 3. Pickup details (time and location) are sent the day before by 5:00 PM via WhatsApp and email. Please note: this is the time you receive the information, not the departure time. Last-minute bookings (after 5:00 PM) are confirmed quickly, so please keep your phone available.
Pickup is from your hotel/riad if accessible, otherwise a nearby meeting point within a 5-minute walk will be arranged. Drop-off is included under the same conditions.
