What to expect
Embark on a breathtaking 4-day Sahara Desert adventure from Marrakech to the golden dunes of Merzouga. Cross the High Atlas Mountains, explore ancient kasbahs, and immerse yourself in Berber culture. Ride a camel through the Erg Chebbi dunes, try sandboarding, and spend two unforgettable nights in a luxury desert camp beneath a sky full of stars.
Day 1: Marrakech ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Dades Valley / Tinghir Area
Depart Marrakech in the morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop for panoramic photos and visit the UNESCO Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a filming location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue toward Ouarzazate, then follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Skoura Oasis and the Rose Valley. Arrive in the Dades Valley or Tinghir area for dinner and overnight stay in a private room with air conditioning.

Day 2: Dades Valley / Tinghir ⇢ Todra Gorge ⇢ Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Desert)
After breakfast, explore the impressive Todra Gorge, known for its red cliffs and clear stream. Continue through Berber villages and desert landscapes to reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara.
In the afternoon, embark on a camel trek across the dunes, enjoy sandboarding, and watch the breathtaking Sahara sunset. Arrive at your Luxury Desert Camp, featuring private tents with hot showers, electricity, and phone charging. Enjoy dinner, Berber music, and stargazing around the campfire.

Day 3: Full Day in Merzouga – Desert Discovery & Culture
Wake up early to catch a stunning sunrise over the dunes, then have breakfast at camp. Spend the day discovering Merzouga:
Visit Khamlia Village for live Gnawa music.
Visit a nomadic Berber family to learn about desert traditions.
Optional 4×4 desert tour or ATV/buggy ride across the dunes (extra cost).
Return to your Luxury Camp to relax, enjoy the sunset, and dine under the stars with Berber drumming.

Day 4: Merzouga ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Rose Valley ⇢ High Atlas ⇢ Marrakech
After breakfast, depart Merzouga and drive through Ouarzazate, where you can admire the Taourirt Kasbah or stop for photos. Continue through the Rose Valley, famous for its oases and rose cooperatives. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening (around 8 PM), marking the end of your unforgettable Sahara adventure.
