What to expect
Join us on a guided journey through the cultural heart of Marrakech to explore its iconic landmarks—Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Medersa, Le Jardin Secret, and the lively souks. Along the way, you’ll uncover centuries of history, marvel at stunning architecture, and feel the vibrant pulse of medina life.
We’ll begin with an exterior visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech’s largest and most emblematic monument. While entry is reserved for Muslims, we’ll take time to admire its majestic Almohad architecture and soaring minaret, visible across the city.
Next, we step into the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century masterpiece of Moroccan design. As you wander its serene courtyards and gardens, you’ll be surrounded by intricate stucco, vibrant zellij mosaics, carved cedar, and polished marble—testaments to the palace’s royal splendor.
We then continue to the Ben Youssef Medersa, once North Africa’s largest Islamic college. Founded in the 14th century and later rebuilt by the Saadians, it housed over 800 students. As you explore its halls, you’ll admire intricate tilework, arabesque plaster, and finely carved cedar—masterpieces of Moroccan artistry.
From here, we’ll dive into the souks, Marrakech’s beating heart of trade and tradition. Together, we’ll explore vibrant alleys filled with spices, textiles, and leather goods, while visiting artisan workshops where craftspeople still create pottery, woodwork, and metalwork using age-old techniques.
As we weave through the UNESCO-listed medina, you’ll discover hidden courtyards, bustling squares, and authentic glimpses of daily life. If you wish, we can conclude with a visit to Le Jardin Secret, a peaceful oasis where Islamic garden design blends flowing fountains, colorful flowers, and serene pathways—a perfect contrast to the energy of the souks.
We end our tour with memories to treasure—Marrakech, where history, artistry, and culture blend to surprise, inspire, and stay with you long after you leave.
End of the Tour Options
At the end of the tour, you may either return with us to the original meeting point, or choose to remain at Le Jardin Secret. If you stay, your guide will arrange skip-the-line entry and give you a short introduction before you explore the gardens at your own pace.

• RAMADAN SCHEDULE: During Ramadan, from February 18th to March 20th, monuments close earlier than usual. Morning tours start at 09:30 instead of 10:00 and afternoon tours at 13:00 instead of 14:00 to ensure you have enough time to fully enjoy the experience.
• A limited number of Spanish and Italian-speaking guides are available in Marrakech, and though we make efforts to accommodate these preferences, if all such guides are unavailable, you will have the option to choose between English or French-speaking guides instead. So, please consider this before booking. Your understanding is appreciated!
• Your tour guide who will accompany you throughout the tour will go inside each monument with you to give you a guided tour with free time to explore on your own and to take photos.
