What to expect
Experience a 4-day private tour from Agadir to Marrakech via the Sahara. Ride camels in Merzouga, camp under the stars, explore Todra Gorges, Zagora, Ait Ben Haddou, and the High Atlas Mountains.
Day 1 : Agadir – Taliouine – Taznakht – Zagora Tinfou
English, Spanish or French driver will take you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM. to begin the route. We’ll start at Taliouine, the Moroccan province of Taroudant’s capital. We’ll stop in this town (also known as “the city of saffron”) to learn about the Berber people’s way of life and sample the local cuisine.
We’ll go via the Draâ Valley with it's hundred thousands of palm trees, Continuing onwards, you'll reach the desert town of Zagora by late afternoon.
Here, you'll experience the vastness of the Sahara Desert. Embark on an exhilarating camel trek into the desert, guided by experienced locals. After your camel trek, settle into your desert camp for the night.
Enjoy traditional Moroccan hospitality and cuisine under the starry desert sky. Gather around a campfire, listening to Berber music and tales of desert life before retiring to your comfortable tent for a peaceful night's sleep.
Day 2 : Zagora Tinfou - Tamgroute - Alnif - Merzouga Dunes
Begin your day with a sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at the camp. Depart Zagora Tinfou and head to Tamgroute, known for its historic Quranic library and traditional pottery.
Explore the village's narrow streets and delve into its rich cultural heritage. Continue your journey through the desert landscapes, passing through Alnif, a charming desert town. Admire the rugged beauty of the terrain as you make your way towards Merzouga.
Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and prepare for a magical experience in the Sahara Desert. Embark on a camel trek into the heart of the dunes. Upon reaching your desert camp, indulge in a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starry sky.
Relax by the campfire, listen to Berber music, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the desert before retiring to your comfortable tent for the night.
Day 3 : Erg Chebbi - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges
Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes before enjoying breakfast at your desert camp. Depart from Merzouga and journey towards Erfoud, stopping to explore its bustling markets and fossil workshops.
Continue to the majestic Todra Gorges, marveling at the towering cliffs and picturesque landscapes. Conclude your day in the stunning Dades Gorges, renowned for rugged rock formations and lush palm groves.
Day 4 : Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - Ait ben Haddou - Marrakech
After Breakfast in Dades Gorges, Continue journey through scenic valleys to Ouarzazate, known for its Kasbahs and film studios. Visit the ancient fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site. Drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, immersing yourself in Morocco's diverse landscapes and cultural heritage.
