What to expect
Begin your adventure with a comfortable, air-conditioned pickup directly from your hotel or riad in Marrakech Medina or Gueliz. Meet your local guide, who will assist with introductions and transfer you to the stables in the Palmeraie — a lush palm grove just minutes from the city center and a world away from the urban bustle.
Upon arrival at the stables, be welcomed by certified riding instructors. Before mounting, receive a full safety briefing covering proper posture, how to hold the reins, how to steer, and how to stop the horse safely.
Take part in a 10–15 minute gentle warm-up session in the paddock so first-time and beginner riders feel completely confident before heading out. Helmets and safety vests are provided and required for all riders. Horses are carefully selected based on each rider's experience level.
Once comfortable in the saddle, set off on a leisurely 1-hour guided trail ride through the golden trails of the Marrakech Palmeraie. The route winds through thousands of date palms, traditional Berber gardens, and quiet dirt paths that offer a peaceful contrast to the city's vibrant energy.
Your guide accompanies the group throughout, narrating the history of the Palmeraie, pointing out local flora, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable pace for all participants — whether beginner, intermediate, or experienced rider.
After the ride, relax in a shaded Berber-style sitting area at the stables. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan mint tea ceremony, featuring freshly brewed spearmint tea poured from height in the traditional manner, accompanied by local sweet pastries and dates.
