What to expect
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Begin your journey by crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Stop at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that has served as the backdrop for many films. Continue through the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes and ancient kasbahs. Spend the night in a traditional guesthouse or hotel
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Travel to the Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with towering cliffs. Continue to Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a sunset Camel ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Spend the night in a desert camp, enjoying traditional Berber music around the campfire.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Fes
Wake up early to watch a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, travel through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop to spot Barbary macaques near Azrou before arriving in the historic city of Fes.
