What to expect
Day 1: M'hamid - Sahara Desert
Our camel trek desert starts at 10 am from M’hamid, the last village before the Sahara, after meeting your team. We start our trip to explore and discover the most beautiful parts of the big Sahara. After about 2 hours of trekking, we enjoy a lunch break under a shadowy tree, then continue walking for about 2 hours to Erg Bartame, where we will set up our mobile camp. Sleep in the tent under the full stars.
Day 2: Sahara Desert - Erg Chegaga
Wake up in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we carry on our trek for about 2 or 3 hours with our companion animals (camels) toward a different world of calmness and tranquility. Lunch will be enjoyed in the shadow of a big Tamaris tree. After lunch, we continue on a 4×4 ride to the big dunes of Erg Chigaga. We will reach the highest dunes in Morocco. Here you can admire the sunset experience sandboarding, and spend the night in Berber tents. Dinner and breakfast in the camp.
Day 3: Erg Chegaga - M'hamid
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the great dunes of Morocco before having your breakfast, then off-road continue towards M’hamid El Ghizlane which you will reach at around 10:30 a.m. to end our experience and desert adventure Sublime Erg Chegaga from M’hamid.
