What to expect
*Option 1: 4-Days Sahara Tour: Merzouga, Erg Chebbi Dunes & Ouarzazate*
Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga:
Depart from Fez in the morning and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou to see Barbary monkeys. Continue via Midelt for lunch, then cross scenic desert landscapes with panoramic viewpoints before arriving in Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in a hotel near the dunes.
Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Desert Camp
Explore the Merzouga area, visiting desert villages, the oasis, Khamlia village for Gnawa music, and Rissani’s traditional market. Taste local Berber pizza (optional not included) before returning to Merzouga. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate
Watch the sunrise over the dunes, then depart after breakfast toward Ouarzazate . Walk through the canyon and stop for lunch. Continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Departing after breakfast to visit Atlas Film Studios. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with scenic stops. Arrive in Marrakech and hotel drop-off around 6:00 PM.

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga Camp
Depart from Fez, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou. Continue via Midelt for lunch before reaching Merzouga. Ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Khamlia – Todra Gorges
After sunrise and breakfast, visit desert villages, Khamlia for Gnawa music, and Rissani’s traditional market. Travel through palm valleys toward Todra Gorges. Free time to explore the canyon. Dinner and overnight near the gorges.
Day 3: Todra Gorges – Dadès Valley – Ouarzazate
Depart Todra Gorges lateand travel through the Dadès Valley along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Continue to Ouarzazate, Morocco’s film capital. Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Visit Atlas Film Studios and the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrive in Marrakech with hotel drop-off around 6:00 PM.
