What to expect
⛰️ Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Summit Tizi n Tamatert:
Begin your adventure with a comfortable pick-up from Marrakech in an air-conditioned minibus, heading toward the beautiful Righaya Valley and the heart of Toubkal National Park.
Arrive at the starting point of your hike at 1,740 meters in the charming mountain village of Imlil, where you will meet your experienced local guide.
Set off on a scenic hike through traditional Berber villages, terraced fields, and lush valleys. Ascend gradually to the Tizi Tamatert Pass (2,275 m), offering panoramic views over the Imnan and Ait Mizan valleys. Continue your climb toward Taoudja Peak (2,600 m), where breathtaking views unfold across the High Atlas Mountains, including a clear view of Mount Toubkal — the highest peak in North Africa.
Enjoy a well-deserved lunch at the summit while taking in the spectacular mountain scenery.
After descending through Tamatert and Ait Souka villages, you will head to your charming mountain accommodation for the night at Riad Atlas Green Lodge in Imlil. Relax and unwind in a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by the stunning High Atlas landscape.
Dinner and overnight stay at the riad.
Day 2: Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Refuge
After an early breakfast in Marrakech, you will travel to Imlil, the gateway to Toubkal National Park.
Here, you will meet your professional mountain guide, experienced cook, and muleteers who will carry your luggage and supplies, allowing you to trek comfortably.
Your adventure begins along scenic mountain trails, crossing traditional Berber villages and winding mule paths. The first major stop is Sidi Chamhrouch (2,500 m), an important spiritual site nestled in the mountains, where you will enjoy a freshly prepared picnic lunch.
After a relaxing break, continue ascending through dramatic alpine landscapes toward the Toubkal Refuge at 3,200 meters. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with traditional mint tea while taking in spectacular High Atlas views.
Relax, enjoy a hot shower, and prepare for your summit attempt the next morning.

⛰️ Day 3: Toubkal Refuge – Mount Toubkal Summit – Imlil – Marrakech
Wake up early around 5:00 a.m. for breakfast before beginning your summit ascent of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa.
The climb takes approximately 3–4 hours and rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views over the Atlas Mountains, vast valleys, and distant Berber villages stretching toward the Sahara.
After celebrating at the summit and capturing unforgettable photos, descend back to the refuge for a well-deserved, hearty lunch.
In the afternoon, continue your descent to Imlil along the same scenic mountain route.
Your driver will then transfer you comfortably back to Marrakech (or directly to the airport), marking the end of an unforgettable High Atlas adventure.
