What to expect
Embark on a 4-day Morocco desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech (or reverse), a group journey packed with the country's top sights. This Tangier to Marrakech Sahara trip blends Chefchaouen's blue medina, a Sahara camel trek, ancient kasbahs, and the High Atlas into one unforgettable experience.
️ Option A: Tangier → Marrakech
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
Pickup from your accommodation, airport, Tanger Ville port, or train station. Drive to the Blue City of Chefchaouen and enjoy ~4 hours free time to explore its blue-washed alleys, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, Kasbah Museum, and Ras Elma spring. Continue to Fes for dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga Desert
Pickup at around 7:30am from your hotel in Fes. Cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and Azrou's cedar forests (Barbary macaques) stop for taking pictures. Lunch in Midelt(optional), then through the Ziz oasis to Merzouga. Ride a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes, then enjoy dinner, live Berber music, and a night in a Sahara desert camp. Sandboarding on request. Quadbiking available with extra fees.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
Sahara sunrise, then visit Rissani's historic market and kasbahs. Walk between the towering Todra Gorges, drive the Dades Valley and Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Atlas Studio - Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
See Atlas Studios, then explore the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with photo stops at panoramic views. Arrive in Marrakech (Jemaa el-Fna or the nearest accessible point to your hotel) by around 6pm (more or less)

️ Option B: Marrakech → Tangier (Reverse)
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorge
Climb the Tizi n'Tichka Pass into the High Atlas, visit Ait Ben Haddou, then through the Valley of Roses to Dades Gorge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorges – Rissani - Merzouga Desert
Walk the Todra Gorges, continue via Tinghir and the Road of 1000 Kasbahs. Lunch in Rissani with its lively market, then on to Merzouga for a camel trek, desert camp, dinner, and live music & QuadBiking available with extra fees.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes
Sunrise over the dunes, then north through the Ziz oasis and Middle Atlas. Lunch in Midelt (optional), stop in Ifrane, and arrive in Fes for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Fes – Chefchaouen – Tangier
Pickup around 7:40am from your hotel. Approx. 4 hours free time in Chefchaouen's blue alleys and squares. Afternoon drive to Tangier, drop-off at your accommodation, airport, Tanger Ville port, or train station. Arrival around 7pm (more or less)
