Common Documents Required

All documents must be A4 size. Submit an original passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, with at least two blank visa pages; keep any previous passports together with a rubber band, not stapled. Also provide two fresh unused 35 x 45 mm white-background photographs with 80% face coverage, no smile or visible teeth, and tied hair; a completed application form signed in the passenger's own handwriting; original covering letter addressed to the Visa Officer, Embassy of Spain, New Delhi; return air ticket and, where applicable, intra-Schengen transport proof; hotel confirmation for the full stay; invitation letter with invitee ID copy; travel insurance covering the full stay for at least EUR 30,000, USD 50,000, or CHF 50,000 per person; six months of original personal and company bank statements with bank seal and sufficient balance; personal and company income-tax returns for the past two years; and contact details.
