There are coin lockers on the first floor of the East Building. You need a 100 yen coin, but it will be returned later.
Do not touch exhibits or display cases (except for hands-on exhibits)
Please keep quiet so as not to disturb other visitors
Large luggage is not allowed into the museum
When using writing utensils, please be careful not to damage the cultural relics
Video and photography without flash for personal use is allowed (without application). However, tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed in the museum
Please be especially careful not to disturb other visitors with the shutter sounds of cameras (including mobile phones)
Flash photography and/or publication purposes require prior approval
Please do not use your mobile phone anywhere in the exhibition hall.
Eating and drinking are only allowed in designated areas. Visitors can enjoy food and drinks in the Visitor Lounge on the first floor of the East Building
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum. The designated smoking area is located on the south side of the East Building on Heiwa Odori Street.
It is strictly forbidden to bring dangerous items into the museum
Pets are not allowed in the museum (except guide dogs, service dogs and hearing dogs)
