You’ll be given a special (English-language) guidebook filled with intriguing questions about Balinese artworks and artifacts on display. Each answer brings you closer to uncovering a hidden keyword woven into the cultural stories within the exhibition.
This activity not only expands your knowledge, but also sharpens your observation skills and encourages direct engagement with the museum’s collection.

The trail is inspired by the travels of Miguel & Rosa Covarrubias, an artistic couple who once documented the beauty of Balinese culture through their work.

- SAKA Museum is a Balinese cultural museum located in the AYANA Bali area, Jimbaran.
- Named after the traditional Saka calendar, the museum features iconic architecture that is grounded in local values and has been internationally appreciated.
- At the Kasanga Exhibition, visitors can see the highest ogoh-ogoh in Bali, the result of the collaboration of the best artists of the Island of the Gods.
- At Subak: The Ancient Order of Bali, visitors can play the interactive game Flow of Water to explore the spirit of cooperation in Balinese water systems.
- At the Heritage Gallery, explore the Panca Maha Bhuta philosophy—five life elements—through sacred artifacts and Balinese cosmological stories.
