Day 1 Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan District - Yuanjiajie,Emperor Mountain
After enjoying your breakfast at hotel, our guide will meet you at hotel lobby to pick you up for next 3 days' tour in Zhangjiajie. Today's highlight is the core area of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - Wulingyuan area - Yuanjiajie Scenic Area and Emperor Mountain (Tianzi Mountain). You have chance to take the Bailong Elevator, the tallest double-layer outdoor sightseeing elevator with the highest speed and maximum carrying capacity in the world. Its total height is 326 meters. The elevator is operated at a constant speed of 3 meters per second. We need only one minute and 58 seconds to finish a one-way journey. When exploring the Yuanjiajie area, you can see the Hallelujah Mountains, the location of the movie"Avatar"; Back Garden, Mihun Stage, and the First Bridge under the Sun. Later, take scenic shuttle bus to Emperor Mountain (Tianzi Mountain), it is the highest mountain in this area and possesses over hundreds of natural viewing decks.
Day 2 Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Huanglong Cave
Driving about 3 hours to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon combining mountains, water and hole, is the landform museum of Zhangjiajie. Here you can enjoy the scenery of all Karst terrain of the North Temperate Zone! The main attractions: One-Line-Sky, Family Portrait, The millennial Ancient Rattan, Chuangwang Pavilion, the Southern Red Flag Canal, Zhuaxian Spring, Rotten Ship Rock, The Bandit Hole and so on. Also, here you can experience the longest and highest glass-bottom bridge in the world - Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. It spans two cliffs in the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon area, stretches 430 meters (1,410 feet) long and 6 meters (20 feet) wide, hovering over a 300-meter (984-foot) vertical drop. After about 3 hours' visiting here, we continue our trip to Huanglong Cave, also named Yellow Dragon Cave. It’s the typical karsts landform, gathering the fantastic features of karsts cave and sharing the good reputation for its supernatural wonders. It's reputed as the “All-round champion” among the karsts caves in the world as well as “the most beautiful touring karsts cave in China”.
Day 3 Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Tianmen Mountain is reputed as the most Beautiful Garden in the Air and Wonderland in Heaven. The main attractions in Tianmen Mountain include Tianmen Cave, Tianmen Mountain Cableway, Heaven-Linking Avenue, Bonsai Garden and Ghost-valley Plank Path with nearly 60-meter glass skywalk. The geopark is the classic Karst landform. Take the cable car up to the mountain needs about 30 minutes per single way, it is the longest passenger cableway of high mountains in the world. Tianmen Cave with a height of 131.5 meters, a width of 57meters and a depth of 60 meters is the main attraction in the Tianmen Mountain.
