1-Day Kunming Culture Tour

Close by are the Western Hills, where you can visit the temples carved on the side of a natural cliff and admire a big panoramic view of Kunming and Dianchi lake. Next to the dragon gate you will also find the largest Taoist grotto of Yunnan. On your visit to Kunming, you'll first explore the Yunnan Nationalities Village, a vast park showcasing the diverse cultures of Yunnan’s 26 ethnic groups through traditional villages, crafts, and performances. Following this, you’ll head to Kunming West Hill (Xishan Forest Park), where cultural temples and Taoist grottoes are interspersed with natural landscapes. A highlight includes traversing a stone corridor carved into the cliff face and enjoying panoramic views from the mountain top. The day concludes with a return drive to Kunming.
