One-Day Zhangjiajie Private Tour of Tujia Ethnic Ancient Village of Shiyanping
The Zhangjiajie guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby at 08:30 with your name plate, and then drive about 2.5 hours to Shiyanping, an ancient village about 48 kilometers away from Zhangjiajie. Located in the southeast of Zhangjiajie, Shiyanping is a picturesque old village with more than 90 percent of its vegetation and forests intact. At the foot of the mountain, the Tujia people built about 180 stilted houses. The ancient Qing Dynasty building complex became a national key cultural relic protection unit in 2015. It was included in the first batch of 50 traditional villages to be protected by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. Your lunch will also be served in the ancient village. It's a great place to relax and even locals like to go there for a weekend. After walking around the village, you can spend some time visiting local families, and you can fish or have a picnic in a purified stream. After that, your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel.
