Continue on to the Guyaju caves, a multi-village complex of more than 170 dwellings carved directly into the rock face.
This private day tour takes you to visit both Guyaju Cave Dwellings and Longqingxia Gorge in Beijing. You will be able to see 174 amazing caves in Guyaju, which were reportedly carved by an ethnic minority called the Xiyi during the Tang dynasty (618-907 AD). Most of the caves are bunched together in two rock face villages, resembling ant farms for humans. In addition, take a fun boat ride in beautiful Longqing Gorge where you will see clear waters, wooded mountains, curious stones and wonderful karst caves.
