You will be picked up from your hotel/train station in the morning and driven to the origin of Longjing tea——Meijiawu Tea Village. A local tea expert will welcome you with a bamboo basket and accompany you on a tour of the tea gardens. Your first task is to choose the right tea leaves and pick them the right way. You will visitChina Tea Museum. This is the only museum in China dedicated to tea. There you will see tea exhibits and precious tea sets, and you will learn about the general history and classification of tea. The museum is closed on Mondays. In the afternoon we will take a relaxing tour of one of the main landmarks of Hangzhouwest lake. Stroll around the lake and take a boat trip to the island.
