The Jinsha River is located in shigu Town of Lijiang City in the northwest of Yunnan Province and shasongbi village in the south of Shangri-La County. The surging Yangtze River suddenly makes a sharp turn of

100 degrees in this village, forming a rare "V" in geography, which is a great reversal of the river.

Haba Snow Mountain is located in the southeast of Shangri-La County. The top of the mountain is covered with snow and ice. It is surrounded by large glaciers. There are many ice-stained lakes at the lower end of the glacier. Due to the low latitude, the climate is relatively mild, and the climbing period is short. The rocky area is not too difficult to form, above the snow line. The terrain is simple, there are no obvious ice

cracks, and it is an entry-level mountain for mountain climbers.

Located in the center of the Shangri-La Scenic Area, Pudacuo National Park is an important part of the world's natural heritage, called the Three Rivers Convergence. It consists of three parts, namely Bitahai,

Shuduhu, and the Xiagei Folk Culture Village. The park has beautiful scenery, a well-preserved ecological environment, quiet and clear mountain lakes, vast pastures, wetlands filled with flowers and lush virgin

forests. Every spring, the park is filled with blooming rhododendrons, while the Autumn brings with it the rich colors of changing leaves.

You first will visit Ganden Monastery, As the largest-in-scale Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan, Sonzanlin is reputed as the Little Potala. Nestled on a hill slope, the whole temple complex is just like a giant and imposing castle with fabulous mural paintings. Delving into the monastery, you can check out the abundant cultural relics such as Buddhist scriptures, Tangka works and Buddha statues.

Afterwards, proceed to Dukezong Ancient Town with a history of over 1,300 years. Following our guide, you will wander through the archaic lanes crammed with wooden white-wall dwellings, Tibetan Temples, gilded prayer halls and pagodas. At the central square of the town, you are able to get a close touch with the real local life by joining their leisure activities such as singing and dancing.

The Giant Buddha Temple Prayer Wheel is found in the old town of Shangri-La County, above the Guishan Mountain. The high relief on the top of the wall is Manjusri, Samantabhadra, Avalokitesvara, Ksitigarbha four grand Bodhisattvas. Rotatable design towering, very spectacular, the tube outer a ring of about 10 cm thick steel tube, the interval is wrapped around the cloth belt, which is used to help everyone work together to rotate the prayer wheel. The canister requires more than a dozen people that work together to turn it.

Located in the northwestern part of Shangri-La County, Napa Sea is a seasonal lake in the plateau. The four seasons of Napa Sea have their own characteristics. In the late summer and early autumn, it is the rainy season. At this time, the water is large, and the Napa Sea is a large lake. The summer water is full, the grass grows with small flowers, and the sheep, cattle, and horses graze in groups, blending with the grasslands. The autumn grasslands are golden and the snow peaks are reflected in the lake. In the dry season of winter and spring, the lake surface shrinks or even dried up, turning into a large swamp.
