First Impression of Datong - Yungang Grottoes and Huayan Temple and Nine Dragon Screen
After pick you up from your Datong hotel, we will drive you to start our sightseeing today. The guide will show you the Yungang Grottoes- one of the three biggest Buddhist grottoes in china, appraised the world cultural heritage in 2001. Have a history of more than 1500 years. Then go to Huayan Temple— the Buddist sect known as Huayan was established during the Tang Dynasty and Monasteries were named after it. The temple was built in Liao dynasty and a representative temple in Liao and Jin dynasty. Our last stop is gonging to visit Nine Dragon Screen, it was a Ming Dynasty screen, and the biggest Nine Dragon Screen in China. End of your tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
