Day 1 Lijiang - Lugu lake

Situated on the provincial road from Lijiang to Lugu Lake, The 18 Bends in Lining is the setting of Zhang Yimou's film "Riding alone for thousands of Miles". Looking down from the observation deck, a road spirals up and down the hill, making it a spectacular sight for shooting.

Lugu lake observation deck
Lugu Lake Observation Platform is located near the Ning-Lu Highway on the south bank of Lugu Lake, on the south bank of Lugu Lake, where you can watch and take pictures of the panorama of Lugu Lake.

Walking Marriage Bridge
Zouhun Bridge, about 300 metres long, is located on the east side of Lugu Lake. There are large amount of reeds growing along the lake. The Zouhun Bridge is a famous attraction around Lugu Lake. The Mosuo people practice the marriage customs of “walking marriage" which meaning that man doesn't get a wife and woman also do not marry to a man. Day 2 Lugu lake - Lijiang Old Town
Qingren tan(Lover beach)
Qingrentan is located on the banks of Lake Lugu in Sichuan Province. It is known for its wide, expansive marshes and beautiful landscape. A wooden walkway allows visitors to explore the marshes and see the wild ducks. The surrounding landscape is dotted with traditional prayer flags.
Qingren tree(Lover tree)
Located in Nisai Village on the north side of Wuhu Lake, Lover Tree is a famous attraction in the village. It is also one of the must-see attractions for tourists on the Wuhu Lake. The two big trees on the beach are tall and short, and they are close to the blue lake. It seems like a pair of lovers watching the beautiful lake quietly together, very romantic. Many tourists arrive in Penghu to cycle or chart around the lake and play here on the way. There are also tourists who choose to live in Nisai Village. You can see these two trees by walking from the village to the lake.
Lige Island
Lige Island is located on the northwestern part of Lugu Lake. Actually a peninsula surrounded by water on three sides and backed by Goddess Mountain, it has some of the lake's most beautiful scenery. Lige
Island is home to more than thirty families of Mosuo. The Mosuo is a matriarchal and matrilineal ethnic group famous for practicing “walking marriages”, or bonds based on mutual affection, where the woman
allows the man permission to court her. Within a given family group, the grandmother holds the highest status. On clear evenings, Lige Village holds a Bonfire Party.
