Zhujiajiao is one of the eight water towns on the outskirts of Shanghai, known for its 1,000-plus years of history. When you arrive, stroll along the alleyways, cross the stone Fangsheng Bridge, and visit a private garden, owned by a local, where you can browse a collection of antiques from 2,000 years ago to the late 19th century.
