Day 1 Zhangjiajie Arrival
Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Clear the customs and retrieve your baggage by yourself upon arrival, be greeted by our tour guide in the
airport or train station who is holding a sign on which says your name. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel in the Zhangjiajie downtown. Your guide will help you check in.
Day 2 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park-Yuanjiajie Avatar Mountain - Tianzi Mountain Peak Forest
On this day, you will have a tour to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. First take Bailong elevator up to Yuanjiajie. This scenic area is world famous as the mountains here inspired the floating mountains in the Hollywood movie Avatar. The peaks in Yuanjiajie are nearly at the same height, which makes it a mountain platform great for enjoying sweeping vistas. Next, take a sightseeing bus to
Tianzi Mountain, where you can have a stunning view of the peaks rising one after another. Ato p of the mountain offers a full
extent of the whole scenic area, which is magnificent and spectacular. After the exciting tour, you'll be escorted back to your hotel
Evening Activity: Take a stroll at Xibu Street, located at Wulingyuan Center, it combines the bars, tea houses, souvenir shops, local snacks and so on. You can relax and enjoy by walking on the streets.
Day 3 Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Glass Bridge & Baofeng Lake
After breakfast, be ready for today's exciting adventures. You'll first drive about 30km from Wulingyuan area to visit Zhangjiajie
Grand Canyon. You will start from the Tourist Center to Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge to walk on the highest and longest glass bridge
in the world. After that, appreciate the charming sightseeing of running waters, flying waterfalls, lush vegetation, etc. (Please note:
In Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, you can choose to only experience the thrilling glass bridge or fully explore glass bridge as well as
hiking and boating in the Grand Canyon.) After lunch at a local restaurant, we will drive to Baofeng Lake. Baofeng Lake is in a
basin in the middle of this mountainous area. It is a leisurely experience as you boat on the clear water, see the hills of various
shapes, and enjoy entertainment by the local minority people as they sing their traditional songs. After the tour, come back to the
hotel have a good rest !
Day 4 Tianmen Mountain - Drive to Fenghuang(Phoenix) Ancient Town, Night View in Fenghuang Ancient Town
After breakfast, go and visit Tianmen Mountain: Regarded as the ‘soul’ of Zhangjiajie, Tianmen Mountain is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie; the views included graceful ancient trees, karst hillocks and long roads that are carved from the sides of the cliff. The
cable car takes 30minutes from the city center to the mountain to p and is the longest in the world. Tianmen Mountain Glass
Walkway: Tianmen Mountain Glass Walkway, located in China’s Tianmen Mountain National Park, is one of the word’s highest
observation platforms jutting out from a sheer cliff at 1430 meters tall. The 1.6-metre-wide, 60-meter-long glass walkway offers
sightseers terrifying thrills and clear view of the mountain below as they tread nervously on it ,and has been compared to the Grand Canyon ‘skywalk ’in Arizona, USA. After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you to Fenghuang Ancient Town with 4-hours’
drive. Appreciate the fabulous night view of this ancient town.
Day 5 Fenghuang(Phoenix Ancient Town)-Zhangjiajie Departure
Today, have a nice tour in Fenghuang Ancient Town. Fenghuang (phoenix) ancient city, the national famous historical and cultural city, praised by New Zealand famous writer Louis alley as the most beautiful city in China. Legend has it that: Ancient India bird
"Phoenix" collected scented woods and burned itself when reached the age of five hundred years. Resurrect from the ember, no
more death. Chinese called the bird: Fenghuang, a holy legendary animal. In the history, In the town dozens of allays are paved
with stones that run between the wooden houses built by the Tuo River. Chinese Miao people have stepped on the rock road generations after generations. Highlights of your today's tour will be Phoenix River rafting, The Former Residence of Shen Congwen, and the Ancient Town Museum etc.
In the afternoon, drive back to Zhangjiajie city and escort you to airport or train station. Service ends!
