Starting the tour around 7:00 am is highly recommended since you will have more time to explore Qinghai Lake when it is not very crowded. Once arrived at main entrance of Qinghai Lake, your driver will assist you to purchase your tickets (at your own expense) and tell you where he will be waiting for you, then you will enjoy your own time to explore Qinghai Lake. Spend about 2 hours at Qinghai Lake, then heading to Chaka Salt Lake. Relax on the 2.5 hours drive, once arrived, spend your free time exploring “China’s mirror of the sky,” When you're ready, you will be returned back to your hotel/place of accommodation in Xining city directly.
