• Komuroyama 

Komuroyama is a low 321-meter-high mountain rising above Ito City on the east side of the Izu Peninsula. It is a scoria cone where lava erupted and is also a major geosite on the Izu Peninsula, recognized as a Global Geopark. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view, making it one of Izu's most spectacular sightseeing spots. Komuroyama Park, stretching at the foot of the mountain, is also famous for its azaleas. The best time to view the flowers is usually from late April to early May. 

• Café•321 

Café•321 is the centerpiece of the renewal. The café's rooftop is paved with boardwalks, giving the exterior the appearance of being subterranean, so as not to block the view. Every seat is positioned so that you can look ahead to see the ocean, making it a true ocean view café! Customers of the café can also use the observation deck outside. Taking a break while feeling the sea breeze here is also recommended. The observation deck, which is for the exclusive use of customers, offers a view of Sagami Bay overlooking the Izu Islands and is guaranteed to be a great place for Instagram photos. 

• Komuroyama Lift

From the top of Komuroyama, you can enjoy an exhilarating view of Mt. Fuji to the north, Sagami Bay with its white sails to the east, the Boso Peninsula, Oshima and the other Izu islands to the far south, and the mountains around the peak of Mt. Amagi to the west. It takes about 5 minutes one-way to get to the 321-meter-high summit by lift. Enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the best view in Izu. During the azalea season from late April to early May, a round-trip lift ticket is recommended! Aim for a shot of Mt. Fuji and a field of azalea flowers blooming in Komuroyama Park together.

• Tokai Komuro Tsutsuji Shrine

The Odawara Domain in Sagami Province suffered devastating damage from the Great Genroku Earthquake of 1703. It is said that the shrine was established by Okubo Tadamasu, the feudal lord of the time, as the western guardian of the domain. The deities enshrined are Atago Daigongen, the deity of disaster protection, Kotohira Okami, the deity of maritime protection, and Homusubi Okami, the deity of fire. These deities protect people from earthquakes, maritime disasters, fire, and epidemics. Please enjoy a stroll there.
